NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual Meetings schedule of the Board of Trustees of the Mountain green Fire protection District for the 2025 calendar year is as follows:
All meetings shall be held at the fire station located at 4565 W Old HWY, Mountain Green, Utah and unless notice to the public is provided to the contrary, all meetings shall commence at 6:30 PM.
If any meetings fall on a legal holiday or for other legitimate reasons the Board of trustees decides to not hold a regularly scheduled meeting, the meeting will be rescheduled and the board shall notify the public in accordance with the Open and Public Meetings law.
Meeting agenda and notes for all meetings are available on State of Utah Website at Utah.gov / Public Notice Website.

Preliminary Budget Public Meeting for the MGFPD was held on November 2, 2024 (as per Utah Code 17B-1-607). The preliminary budget was available to the public for review at the Mountain Green Fire Protection District at 4565 Old HWY RD in Mountain Green, Utah from November 4th through December 2nd (As per Utah code 17B-1-608).
Public notice of Budget hearings were posted on MGFPD.org website, The Utah Public Notice site and at the MGFPD station on the door and/or electronic street sign (as per Utah code.17B-1-609)
Final Budget Public Meeting for the MGFPD was held on December 2, 2024. Final 2025 was approved by Board of Trustees with revisions identified during Preliminary Budget Public Meeting. (as per Utah Code 17B-614).

The proposed updates/amended Impact Fee Analysis and Resolution will be available for public inspection on the District’s website at www.mgfpd.org and at the district office during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday) at least 10 days before the public hearing. This Notice is being given in satisfaction of the requirements of Utah Code 11-36a-504 and 17b-1-111. If you cannot attend the public hearing and would like to submit written comments, they will be received at the district office until 5:00 p.m. on the date of the public hearing. Anyone requiring assistance to understand or participate in the public hearing is encouraged to contact Tim Barnes, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, at mgfd.tbarnes@gmail.com and/or 801-695-0724 at least two days before the public hearing so assistance may be provided.
