It is important that you register your work so we know where your vegetation is. NO additional vegetation may be placed at the curb after May 15. Beginning May 16, the state contractor will come around and assess the piles, provide a bid to the State DNR, and the contract will be awarded during the following week. Piles should be picked up by the contractor not later than May 31. If piles have not been picked up, please contact Chief Brendel at email@example.com and leave a contact phone number.
Keep Chipping Free! The Mountain Green Fire Protection District, in cooperation with Utah State Division of Natural Resources and Morgan County, has secured a grant to help chip and dispose of yard debris and vegetation that you remove from around your property in order to lower the severity of Wildland Fires. Please use the link below to an online form and report the work you complete. On the form, please list your “CWPP” as “Mountain Green” and the Activity Type as "Mitigation". Your labor report is what keeps this service free. The state recognizes, through these reports, the value of provinng the chipping service here in Mountain Green.
